Quentin Black Boxset - only $0.99!

I'm a little late announcing this, due to jury duty on Monday, then needing to help my mom with getting to and from surgery (over an hour away) on Tuesday, and a bunch of other things, but I wanted to make sure people knew about this sale before the week ends, since it goes back to full price on Saturday ~ the first three novels plus TWO bonus stories in my Quentin Black Mystery series are now available to buy for only $0.99! As the set is normally $9.99, this is a really great deal, and one I don't do very often!

Description of BLACK IN WHITE (Quentin Black Mystery: Book 1):

My name is Black. Quentin Black.”

Gifted with an uncanny sense about people, psychologist Miri Fox works as an off and on profiler for the police. So when they think they finally nailed the “Wedding Killer,” she agrees to check him out, using her gift to discover the truth.

But the suspect, Quentin Black, isn't anything like Miri expects.

He claims to be hunting the killer too, and the longer Miri talks to him, the more determined she becomes to uncover his secrets.

When he confronts her about the nature of her peculiar "insight,” Miri gets pulled into Black's bizarre world, and embroiled in a game of cat and mouse with a deadly killer––who might just be Black himself.

Worse, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to Black, a complication she doesn’t need with a best friend who’s a homicide cop and a boyfriend in intelligence.

Can Miriam see a way out or is her future covered in Black?

Description of BLACK AS NIGHT (Quentin Black Mystery: Book 2):

He will break anything you try to keep pure, brother.”

When her now-employer, psychic detective, Quentin Black, calls from a Bangkok jail, asking for her help, forensic psychologist, Miri Fox, is forced to fly across the world to get him.

She finds Black working undercover inside a gang of criminals, trying to discover who’s murdering street children and burning their bodies inside Buddhist temples.

Black isn’t the only one interested in the crimes, however, and soon his investigations get the attention of a crime syndicate out of Russia that doesn’t appreciate his meddling.

When Miri shows up to help, events quickly spiral out of control, and Miri soon finds herself the hunted.

*

Description of BLACK ON BLACK (Quentin Black Mystery: Book 3):

“What kind of confession are you looking for, brother…?”

Black disappears, leaving Miri alone in San Francisco mere days after they return from Bangkok.

No explanation. Not a word about where he is, what he's doing, what his mysterious new contract entails or even who he's working for.

Black will only drop cryptic hints, leaving her breadcrumbs.

Miri can feel him, though. More every day.

She feels so much through her dreams and into her waking life that her world starts to spin out of control, especially when things between Black and his new employer begin to sour.

Black's in danger, although he won't admit that, either.

Only Miri can save him. But to help Black, she has to cross lines she swore she'd never cross, exposing herself in a way that will change her life forever.

In other news, I did get out of jury duty on Monday for the trial itself (woot!), which I feel very lucky about - the two sides settled like a half-hour after I got to the courthouse, so everyone there was off the hook, not just me. :)

Which means I should be on schedule to get the rest of Seer Wars Season 02: A New Enemy out by the end of this year, plus the next book in the Quentin Black Mystery series, which I'm very excited about! I have lots of plans for 2025, and I'm looking forward to being more or less back on my regular publishing schedule by the end of the year. I'm already getting ambitious about that fact, of course, and wondering if I can launch at least one of the new series I have planned a little earlier than I'd originally thought, lol.

But I'll wait and see how I make it through 2024, first, before I get too far ahead of myself with a bunch of crazy scheduling ideas...

Hope everyone is having a fabulous September in the meantime!

Happy reading and enjoy the rest of your week!
